Interview
SpiceProp

We are delighted to present the story of another trader who has successfully completed the SpiceProp challenge. Our guest today is Chibuzor Ndoh—a trader for whom the key to success is not complex algorithms, but iron discipline, precisely defined daily goals, and the ability to remain calm in the dynamic Forex market. Enjoy this short interview with Chibuzor on building an edge and trusting one's own strategy.

Chibuzor, why do you like to trade with SpiceProp?

I appreciate them for their tight spreads and realistic, easy-to-reach trading targets.

What was the most important thing that helped you pass the SpiceProp challenge?

Consistency in action and sticking to my set daily profit targets proved to be crucial.

What was the key moment in your career as a trader?

Definitely the moment I passed a prop firm verification for the first time.

How long have you been trading?

For three years.

What is your trading plan?

I focus on the Forex market during the London and New York session overlap. I use a day trading strategy on the 1-hour (H1) timeframe, opening positions only in the direction of the trend and after clear confirmation. I risk 1% per trade, always using a stop loss and aiming for a minimum risk-to-reward (RR) ratio of 1:2. I take a maximum of two trades per day and stop trading after two losses to avoid overtrading and revenge trading. Every operation is recorded in my journal, which allows me to track my effectiveness and eliminate mistakes.

What quality of your character helps you succeed (in three words)?

Setting daily targets.

What separates the average traders from the best?

In my opinion, it is planning and knowing when to refrain from trading.

What is the best piece of advice that has brought you good results?

Trust your strategy.

Could you share any resources or people significant to your development with the community?

I honestly recommend figures like Tonysnip3r and Asgardian, but my family has also been a huge support to me.

Should we learn from ourselves or from others?

It is worth learning from others to grow, but you shouldn't mindlessly copy them. You should take what is valuable and add it to your own "knowledge bank."

What does your "ideal setup" look like?

It must meet three conditions:

  • a 4-hour (H4) candle closure,
  • the appearance of an H4 FVG (Fair Value Gap),
  • and an entry on the 1-hour (H1) timeframe upon the retest of that gap.

Do you have a morning ritual or pre-session routine?

I start with a prayer and then do a set of push-ups before I even open the charts.

What hobby helps you clear your head most effectively after a tough day?

I either go to sleep or play football.

Chibuzor, thank you very much for this inspiring conversation and for sharing the specifics of your strategy. Congratulations on passing the challenge and thank you for being a part of the SpiceProp community. We wish you continued discipline and nothing but "green" positions on your account!
